Eshi Otawara is back!

After a very sad goodbye letter distributed by Eshi Otawara last year (one that I think made all of us question what it is that we really want out of an experience like SL), she is back and creating the exquisite couture clothing and accessories that we have all come to love her for. As a fellow NPRIL member, I admire how she never ceases to take design and pull it to the next dimension. Dresses such as the Imperial Lotus, seen below, and the famous Fish Hook Dress, seen here on her Flickr page, take virtual design from flat and 2 dimensional design, or “FLART” as Bettina Tizzy loves to call it, to a world where only your creativity can limit you. Natural forces such as material and gravity are not a concern when designing within virtual worlds, and Eshi is the queen of pushing these barriers.

Eshi’s new store called “Black Liquid’” is a beautiful creation of new and revamped items. The store seems to morph every time I am there, and although she says she is not sure if she “is back” or not, it seems to me like the SL bug has bit her once again. And I, for one among many, am grateful for it!

This “The Imperial Lotus” dress was given this week as a group gift. You are mad if you do not go to the store and sign up on her group subscriber.
